Kim holds an LLM in taxation from Boston University School of Law, a JD from Roger Williams University School of Law, and an MA from Boston College. |
Kim is a member of the Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut Bar. His practice includes advising clients on the choice and formation of business entities for dental practices, and the tax consequences of acquisitions, mergers, and dispositions where the dental practice is a corporation, partnership, or limited liability company.

Bob is a dentist, consultant, and broker. For 28 years, he operated a successful dental practice in Montpelier, Vermont. Bob is a graduate of Holy Cross College. After college, Bob taught for the Jesuits Missions in Baghdad, Iraq. |
He received a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
Bob is a member of the Vermont Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Rhode Island Dental Society. He has also volunteered dental services to poor and disadvantaged in foreign countries, most recently in Columbia.
Bob knows what dentists feel when they move through the transition process.
He brings his experiences and understanding in guiding his fellow dentists
through the transition process.
P. Michael McLinn, DDS

Dr. McLinn is a native of Edina, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry in 1969, he joined the Navy and served at Quonset Point, Rhode Island. |
Thirty five years later, after a successful private practice in Coventry, Rhode Island, he retired in October, 2004. He was a clinical instructor at the University of Rhode Island, School of Dental Hygiene, and also served as an officer in the Kent County Dental Association.
He is chairman of the Coventry Library Board of Trustees and a member
of the Coventry Library Foundation. "I still enjoy skiing, snow
shoeing, playing awful golf, woodworking, and gardening.I was very
honored to be invited to join The Almonte Group. I have known the
group for a long time and their reputation for honesty, professionalism
and ethics is unmatched. What this group accomplished for me can also

Karen is a Tax Partner of the firm of Healy & Johnson, a boutique firm providing business and tax advice to dentists. Karen earned her undergraduate degree from Clark University, “cum laude”, and her Jurist Doctorate degree from Duke University School of Law. |
She earned a Masters Degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. Ms. Johnson’s tax practice, which is both national and international, concentrates in the area of dental practice transitions, estate planning, like-kind exchanges, and advising both non-profit and for profit organizations.
